2. National level: Third Prize in The 8th National College Students’ Practical and Innovative Works Competition on Safety Science and Engineering
National Collegiate Safety Science and Engineering College Students’ Practical and Innovative Works Competition is a national competition co-sponsored by the Teaching Guidance Committee of Safety Science and Engineering of the Ministry of Education, the National Collegiate Safety Science and Engineering Academic Conference Committee, the Society for Science and Technology of Public Safety, and the China Occupational Safety and Health Association, aiming at cultivating and exercising college students’ engineering practical ability, innovation ability and teamwork spirit.
3. National level: Third Prize in “600 LIGHT YEAR” The 15th National University Student Social Practice and Science Contest on Energy Saving & Emission Reduction
National College Students’ Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition is a college students’ extracurricular scientific and technological works and social practice and investigation competition organized by National College Students’ Energy Saving and Emission Reduction Social Practice and Science and Technology Competition Committee under the guidance of the Teaching Guidance Committee of Higher Educational Schools of the Ministry of Education for Energy and Power, and one of the college students’ scientific and creative competitions with the greatest influence in the national universities. It is one of the most influential competitions in colleges and universities in China. The competition is closely centered on the national major demands such as the “Double Carbon” strategic goal, and under the caring guidance of the Ministry of Education and the active collaboration of the majority of colleges and universities, the competition has developed into a national college student practice and innovation activity with a high starting point, many high-quality products, a wide range of coverage, and a great influence.
4. International level: Finalist (top 2%) in The Mathematical Contest in Modeling and The Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling (MCM/ICM)
Turn theory into practice by entering one of COMAP’s modeling contests. The study of mathematics as its own subject may have started with Pythagoras, but people have been counting as a necessity of everyday life for tens of thousands of years. It follows that mathematics was invented to help us understand and manage the world around us. COMAP’s international modeling contest opportunities at the middle school, high school, and undergraduate levels challenge students to form, organize, and manage a team to model and solve a real-world application problem and present a solution report. In addition, such contests provide an experience in which students develop interpersonal skills through teamwork, develop technical writing and communication skills, feel a sense of accomplishment, and earn an impressive resume credential.
5. Provincial level: Third Prize in National level: Third Prize in the 14th “Challenge Cup” Hunan Province College Student Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition
Challenge Cup is the abbreviation of “Challenge Cup” National College Students’ Science and Technology Competition, which is a national extracurricular academic and practical competition for college students co-sponsored by the Central Committee of the Communist Youth League, China Association for Science and Technology, Ministry of Education, Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, and the All-China Federation of Universities, and the official website of the competition is www.tiaozhanbei.net. “There are two parallel programs in China, one is ”Challenge Cup“ National Extracurricular Academic and Technological Works Competition for College Students, and the other is ”Challenge Cup” China College Students’ Entrepreneurship Plan Competition. The other is the “Challenge Cup” Entrepreneurship Program Competition for Chinese College Students. The national competitions of these two programs are held on a rotating basis, with each program being held once every two years.
